Jason Halek Develops Keen Business Sense Early In Life
Jason Halek began working small jobs when he was only ten years old, cleaning office buildings and dog kennels. While his peers were riding bicycles and playing baseball, Jason was working in the construction and landscaping business. Even more impressive was the development of his entrepreneurial drive at such an early age. Realizing a source of untapped income, Jason Halek took initiative and established a soft drink machine at his father's office building when he was just 12 years old. By age 21, Jason Halek had already worked for himself in various capacities and had become the youngest person ever to lease and operate a Sinclair gas station.
Jason Halek continued to collect extensive business experience over the years and eventually found his calling in the oil and gas industry. As of September 2011, he has drilled over 75 wells in Texas, Montana and North Dakota, with some reaching depths of over 10,000 feet. Jason Halek's wells are among the most successful in Jack County, Texas, and he continues to strive for improved production procedures and innovative technology. With the same amazing work ethic he has possessed since childhood, he remains intimately involved in the daily operations and vision of his companies, putting in 60 to 80 hours in any given week. Jason Halek has also established a nonprofit organization, Halek Charities, dedicated to assisting numerous charitable causes.
